Supermarine Spitfire MkVb MDT "Buckeye Don" serial BL256 from the N 133 "Eagle" Squadron flown by First Lieutnant Don Gentille at Biggin Hill in late August 1942. Don Gentille scored his two first kills, two Focke-Wulf Fw190, during Operation Jubilee over Dieppe on the 19th of August 1942. Gentille was the top ranking US ace of the ETO when he ended his tour in 1944.
